Max Brenner‘s in Union Square sells chocolate of every shape and form, but you want to go here for lunch. Trust me!
Start with drinks. Dan had a mojito but I was on a chocolate kick. The White Russian was amazing, especially since the cream was replaced with white chocolate. No words. #nomnom And the boys? They loves the frozen lemonade.
Then lunch – the food is really delicious. I had the steak and fries, Dan had the avocado salad. They were both “lick the plate” yum. Elliot devoured his kiddo pizza, and Cooper ordered spiral pastas with red sauce – and the sauce was delivered in an oversized syringe so he could squirt just the amount he wanted. I stole a ton of red sauce – it was so good!
And then dessert.
There are milkshakes, waffles, crepes, hot chocolate mugs, chocolate EVERYTHING. I wanted it all.
The next best thing to ordering everything on the menu? The Sharing Fondue!
We picked dark and white chocolate for dipping…and the dipping selections? Chocolate cheesecake crepe, an after party waffle, milk and white chocolate barks, chocolate sponge cake, strawberries, and marshmallows. It. Was. Amazing.
The white chocolate and cheesecake crepe was my favorite, and the chocolate barks were a close second…but every drop was amazing – and perfect for four people.
