This unique lake is comprised of 65 miles of pristine, undeveloped shoreline surrounded by 3,200 acres of refreshing clear water. A well-stocked ship’s store has drinks, snacks and everything needed for a great day on the water. Boat rentals are seasonal and must be reserved more than 24 hours in advance.
Feeling a little more adventurous? Try tubing or rafting on one of the many rivers in the area. Cartecay River Experience offers adventure and lazy river experiences suitable for all levels of adventurism, while Ellijay River Outfitters has all the gear needed for a fun-filled day on the river.
Interested in fishing? Ellijay River Outfitters also provides one of the best fishing spots in the area. Visitors will need a fishing license with trout stamp.
