It is HOT right now…so this weekend, we promised the kiddos some ice cream. A quick Google search popped up a place near us called CheeseCaked. Doesn’t sound like ice cream, but we took the chance.
OK, sure…you can get ice cream here. You can even get a mini cheesecake bite…but the kids are going to want one of these beauties.
The one on the left is covered in Nerds and topped with gumballs. On the right, that’s the Unicorn Milkshake with rainbow candy, a white chocolate unicorn horn, candy-covered marshmallow, brownie bite and cotton candy. Whew.
There are three sizes of milkshakes – these are “minis” that were about $7 each. They were still too big for the kiddos to finish.
So, I’m going to be honest…it wasn’t the greatest tasting milkshake. I mean, the kids were in ice cream heaven, but more discerning tastebuds might find it a little disappointing. It was more milk than ice cream…lacking a little flavor IMHO. But…it’s a great place for a kid surprise or treat.
One other note – the inside is decorated SO CUTE! I think it’s be a fun place for a birthday party gathering.
