Investing in a Springfree Trampoline was one of the best things we’ve ever done for our family. It gets them outside, it’s safe…and the giggles. Oh my!
Now, I know Springfree’s are more expensive than most other brands….and you wonder if the kids will really use it. But in my family, there is not a day that goes by (even when it rains) that the boys are not on it – even years after the purchase.
Heck, our 20-something kids still jump on it when they come visit!
So, as we were packing up our house preparing to hit the road for 2021, I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that this had to come with us. It’s practically another member of the family!
Have you ever tried to disassemble one? Holy cow!
There is a “technique” to removing those white rods- and the pros at Springfree can do it in less than 5 minutes (no exaggeration.) But if you don’t know the special technique then life is miserable.
365 Dan is a pretty handy guy…he can generally do anything he sets his mind to. But even in watching all the videos, reading all the special maneuver options, etc … he was spending about 15 minutes (and a lot of blood, sweat and cursing) on each rod.
That’s when I decided to look up the Relocation Services with Springfree.
For only about $200 one of the Springfree team members will come to your rescue and dismantle the trampoline. And for just a little bit more, they’ll even come to your new location and put it back up, also.
We didn’t need that second service (reassembly) as ours went into storage for the duration of our RV trip, but I guarantee you we’ll use this service again once we settle into our next house.
We got lucky with timing…they came out the next day to help us but I do NOT recommend that. You generally want to call and set an appointment about 1-2 weeks in advance.
Drew came to the house on a cold, rainy day and within a half hour had had removed all the rods, taken down the net, unscrewed and dismantled the platform, and had everything neatly stacked in our driveway. He was even smiling the whole time!
I can’t recommend this service more…it’s such a small price to pay for the pain it will save you (and also, who needs that headache in the middle of a move, right?)
